Phoenix, AZ – After careful reflection, it is with a heavy heart that we announce Mayfield Residential will formally conclude operations as of June 30, 2025. This marks the end of a meaningful chapter defined by hard work, shared purpose, and a deep commitment to the residents and communities we’ve had the privilege to serve.

Since our inception, Mayfield Residential has grown into a respected presence in the Phoenix multifamily market—acquiring and managing eight communities and building a team of 23 dedicated professionals. Over the past 2 years, the Mayfield team delivered strong, measurable results across our portfolio. Together, the team led lease-ups, managed renovations, stabilized underperforming properties, and executed on value-add strategies. A notable achievement has been the successful launch and early lease-up of Allero 59, a build-for-rent community in the heart of Phoenix.

This decision was not made lightly. After careful consideration, our leadership determined that evolving personal circumstances would prevent us from continuing the level of stewardship and pace of growth this organization requires. This is not a reflection of our team’s performance or future potential, but rather a recognition of what is needed to responsibly lead and scale an organization like Mayfield.

Portfolio Transition

As part of this transition, the Luna Bear Communities portfolio will be assumed by Sureway Property Management, and Allero 59 will be assumed by CAM. Both organizations were selected with care and confidence, and we believe they are well-positioned to continue building on the momentum and standards our teams have established.

Throughout this process, we have remained focused on supporting our team. Each team member has been treated with dignity and consideration—offered new opportunities either within incoming management teams or with partner organizations. Their dedication has always been our greatest asset, and we are proud to see them step into the next phase of their careers with strength and clarity.

“Leading Mayfield Residential has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my professional life. We built something that was driven by values—accountability, responsiveness, and a genuine belief in community. I’m proud of the results we achieved, especially in a market that demanded resilience and adaptability. Most of all, I’m grateful to the people who gave their time and energy to this vision. That legacy will carry forward through every resident we served and every professional who grew through this journey.” — Alicia Landry, Co-Founder & President

“I couldn’t be more proud of the work we did. We created something from nothing—no brand, no portfolio, just belief and execution. In less than two years, we delivered meaningful value to clients, created opportunities for amazing employees, and proved that a better model was possible. I’m grateful to every client who took a chance on us, and to the team who gave their best every day. The impact we made was real, and the lessons learned, shared experiences, and professional growth we achieved together will continue to shape us long after this chapter ends.” - Jesse Mayfield, Co-Founder & CEO

To our residents, partners, vendors, and supporters: thank you. Your trust, partnership, and belief in our mission made this work possible. While Mayfield Residential will conclude operations at the end of June, the spirit of our values and the impact of our efforts will continue to live on in the communities we’ve helped shape—together.
